Thanks Sarus for feedback.

The real problem in getting any of these types of systems to work is getting a critical mass of people willing to use it. If the system isn't refined and well layed out getting a critical mass of people to use it will be impossible.

I agree critical mass is key.

1. Integration with forums so you need one login to use the system and the forums.

This would be a nice feature but not crucial imo. I set the forums up so anyone can post or become a member with ease.

2. User profiles so people don't have to enter basic information in over and over again.

The way it works, you use the username you signed up with and make as many posts with as many aliases as you want.
If you decide to come back at some later time, simply Edit a previous post with the appropriate alias with the current info you want to supply. You can even paste character templates with your build from programs (like the Edge, GWFreaks) into the Notes field. This will be saved for future use when you log back in for you to keep or update.

3. Keep PvP and PvE seperate because whether you like it or not PvP players aren't going to use a system to find other PvP players when 75% of the posts are looking for people to complete missions.
|
The real power of the site lies in the Advanced Search where you can filter out posts that fall or don't within your area of interest, whether it be PVP, PVE or other.

4. A more realtime system that doesn't require 2 days advance planning since lets face it, how many even think 2 hours ahead in real life.

All depends on creating a sufficient userbase, so that at most times you can find someone or a group where your interests intersect. For example, creating a PUG for Tombs would be a fairly quick process with enough people using this utility.
